Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern use of the Perkva app ("Service"), a loyalty and rewards program for Shopify stores. By installing Perkva on a Shopify store, the merchant agrees to these Terms. Perkva is operated by an independent developer, not a registered company.

The service

Perkva lets a merchant run a points-based loyalty program on their storefront: customers earn points on orders, unlock rewards, and redeem them for discounts. Perkva offers multiple tiers (Free, Starter, Growth, Pro, and Enterprise), each with a different order-volume band and feature set, described on our pricing page.

Acceptable use

• Use the Service only for its intended purpose: operating a genuine customer loyalty program.
• Don't attempt to manipulate the points/rewards system through fraudulent orders, fake accounts, or other abuse.
• Don't attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its underlying systems, beyond what Shopify's own platform permits.
• Use of Perkva must also comply with Shopify's own Merchant Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy, which continue to apply independently of these Terms.

Subscription and billing

Paid tiers are billed entirely through Shopify's built-in billing system — Perkva does not separately collect or store payment details. Tiers move by monthly order band; Perkva does not charge per-order overage fees. Upgrading, downgrading, or cancelling a paid plan is done from the Perkva plan page inside Shopify admin, subject to Shopify's own approval flow for recurring charges. Uninstalling the app ends billing.

Service provided "as is"

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty of uninterrupted or error-free operation. We work to keep the Service reliable but do not guarantee it will always be available or free of defects.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Perkva is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service, including lost revenue or lost data. Perkva's total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service is limited to the amount the merchant paid to Perkva in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

Privacy

Use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what data is collected and how it's used.

Termination

A merchant may stop using the Service at any time by uninstalling the app. Perkva may suspend or terminate access to the Service for a merchant who violates these Terms. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including limitation of liability) will survive.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Any change will be posted on this page with a revised "last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
